RE: Just Picked up our 09 Super Nova 6400

God Bless you my friend as Gulfstream is a piece of******and if you have ever been to the filthy factory you would see why. Be ready for some major issues with this unit and good luck getting it fixed.

RE: Gulf Stream Super C Service

If you will call the general manager of Gulf Stream and for the life of me I cannot remember his name he will get you satisfaction. You should not have to do that but may be the only way. I will tell you that is why I sold a new Gulf Stream after the factory screwed it up. Dane

RE: New Gulfstream Super C

You better stay away from Gulfstream !!!!!!!!!!!!!! They are a pitiful company with no care for building quality coaches and their plant looks like it has not been cleaned in years>

RE: Jayco Embark

They are only building the embark when ordered. I just got back from the factory and toured one but the interior leaves alot to be desired. Cabinets above cab are useless as they are on a real slant. Where they put the TV in center of the coach does not allow for effortless viewing. I don't know who designs these things but leaves alot to be desired. I did like the freezer and they took my advice last year and the storage doors open to the side instead of to the top. You will be better if you bought from the dealer in Middlebury, Indiana just a few blocks from the factory. Dane

RE: Is a Diesel Super C for me?

Sorry but it was just a fan motor. I have some health issues the same as Don on the Yahoo site and it what we think is wrong I won't need the RV. I love it and we have no major issues except the last one and thank God it was a small issue as some on the site thought. Dane

RE: Is a Diesel Super C for me?

That is what we thought but it was a fan motor and a simple fix. I have a health condition that may dictate the sale. If you read the Kodiak forum on Yahoo you will see that both Don the narrator and I have some health issues. I love the RV but if what we think is wrong then I won't need it. Dane

RE: Is a Diesel Super C for me?

I have an 08 Seneca GS 35G and may be selling. It is loaded right down to the upscale paint and 4K upgrades on the suspension which drives like a car and no more tail wagging. Has 5K milage and gets 10mpg. It is diesel. Let me know if you are interested and I will make a decision within 30 days. Dane

Jayco Senaco 35GS

Well with only 5K milage our 08 Kodiak just blew an engine. We were really surprised since I own a Chev 2500 with the 6.6. Anyway we are waiting for the dealership to which it was towed to get back with us on the situation. OH the joy of RVing!!!

RE: Extended warranties

OK and thanks. That was my initial thought as well but just a thought on the internal workings of the RV. Jayco has a two year warranty anyway so will check with them if they have an extended warranty when I visit the factory next month. Dane

Extended warranties

Can anyone recommend a good extended warranty program and any issues thereof. Thanks Dane

RE: Jayco Embark

You do not want a four winds of any sort!!!!! You need to go to Yahoo and the Kodiak Chassis group and talk to Denny. BUT PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM A FOUR WINDS. Dane

RE: Anyone Self-Installed Front Shocks on a Kodiak?

My guidance is to throw the Bilstein in the garbage and buy Koni's all around. You won't be sorry. Dane

RE: Insurance

Go with Progressive as there is not other insurance for an RV that is any more reasonable with the coverage. Dane

RE: Part numbers for Bilstein shocks ?

I highly recommend Koni's as there are no comparision in the ride with bilstein. You won't be sorry. Dane

RE: 08 SENECA LIMP MODE

Thanks to all and I too had the mercedes diesel View and I had that issue as well. I will check with the scan but I have had not other issues since I topped the coolant off. Again thanks for all the replies. Dane

08 SENECA LIMP MODE

Just a note to let all Seneca owners know about a limp mode that I know I was not aware of. On our recent trip the check engine light and low coolant light came on and when it started blinking the entire system shut down, engine and all. I checked the coolant level and it was just above the low mark, so it did not make sense to me. Anyway I managed to limp to a Wal-Mart with about 5 complete stalls. I added coolant to the full mark and that fixed the problem. Seems to me this is a real safety issue with the unit stalling in the middle of the road and all safety features to include power steering goes out. Anyway just a word of caution to the Seneca owners out there. Dane

RE: SUPER "C" OR CLASS "A"

I have an 08 Seneca 35GS and I am getting around 10 mpg. Anyone telling you different is blowing smoke. There is not a diesel RV out there in a Super C that will get 15 MPG. Dane

RE: Suspension upgrades on 07 Seneca HD 35GS

Glad you took our advice and yes there is no comparision. The factory should have solved this before going on the block but we know how that goes. Dane

RE: check your Seneca hitch

This is old news and a recall was issued and all newer models have been upgraded. Everyone should check the hitch bolts and nuts as a standard checklist before each trip. Dane
